This project began with a steep, sloping block and incredible views. Where other builders suggested scaling back the design or said it was too difficult. Pure Pools & Surrounds approached it differently. We start with a considered plan, thoroughly explore every possible scenario, and then present the best outcomes to maximise space, functionality, and lifestyle. Our focus is always on turning our clients’ vision into reality.
We embrace challenging site conditions. Before any build, we undertake detailed feasibility assessments to ensure every pool is structurally sound and engineered specifically for its environment, no matter how complex the terrain.
Geotechnical soil testing is an integral part of our process. Using this data, our team engineers a custom concrete pool tailored to the site, whether it’s a flat block or integrated into the slope of the land, unlocking the full potential of each outdoor area.
On this project, we positioned the pool to capture uninterrupted afternoon sunlight and breathtaking sunset views, without simply stepping the area down to follow the existing fall of the land. The design incorporates retained levels and integrated steps that connect naturally to the home, creating a seamless flow from indoor to outdoor living.
Through careful planning and hands-on coordination, the build came together smoothly despite the initial complexities of the site. The result is more than just a pool that fits the yard, it feels like it has always belonged there.
